Finally we got to the peak !!!!!!!

The tram was very very old it wasn't like l imagined it was like a roller coasters and we went backwards it felt like I was going back in time !🚋🚃🎢

When we got to the top ..... It was so foggy we couldn't see a thing!!!!

So we had a drink and went back down again ! 

We then went to an area called mid levels and went on the longer escalator in the world which gets people up and down the hillside to work and home 

Everyone in Hong Kong lives in tall building  .. 

P.s my daddy's scared of heights 

In the afternoon we went to a market where they were fish for sale one jumped out and landed by my feet !!!

We did some shopping and saw a small temple 

We went back to the hotel and had a swim on the eleventh floor out of forty one floors

Sunday not a fun day ...

Sunday we decided to visit the peak ... So headed off to get the tram and oh the queues... Hot, humid and crowded .... Poor nelly was feeling faint .....

I couldn't stand it so I told  mummy and daddy that I felt dizzy so we went back in a cab and I went to sleep  .....

After a few hours sleep we took the star ferry across to Kowloon from wanchai and spent time in Kowloon park watchin Kung fu and dragon dancing ...

We watched groups of 'domestic helpers' congregating in the park eating lunch, dancing and doing karaoke! 

Mummy had to spend time at the hotel organising train tickets ... More of that nightmare another time !!!

Saw a junk on the journey back and I went to bed early !

Bit sleepy...

Normal service will be resumed once Nelly wakes up !!! 

Day one Hong Kong

Well we arrived in hong Kong and took a train to our hotel in wanchai . We booked a room for three but when we arrived in the room only one double bed ! Not enough room for all of us ! The hotel sent a new bed so I am sleeping right next to the window 

We looked around the hotel and I found a park on the 11th floor near the swimming pool 

We went on the MTR to temple street market . It was very busy lots of stalls

We ate really good egg fried rice and crispy squid but the waitress took the plate from the table ! 

I told mummy the rice was better than hers! 

We didn't eat good intestines! 

It is now 3 38 and mummy and I are wide awake ! Is it too early for breakfast !! 🍏🍝🍴🍽

We arrived in Hong Kong

Good journey and we arrived to a busy HK airport before boarding the train into Hong Kong ....just checked into the hotel more pictures to follow

I have just checked in and gone to the lounge for a snack, I had beans on toast, daddy had a brownie and mummy had salad...

Dad and I have check in on line. We are all very excited On a scale of one to ten ...

In fact daddy has a puddle under his chair he is soooooooooooooooooooooo excited.😀😂😃😄😅😆😛

Four more sleeps ....

It's all Christmas jumpers and card writing around here as we pass the final days until we leave....

Last night we took a look through Nelly's suitcase to discover she had not packed any pants ! 

Today was buying up plenty of cat food and writing instructions for the Catsitter about lights and security ..

And finally the cards designed by nelly arrived ...

This time next week

So we only have four and a bit days before leaving ... This weekend we kept busy with Christmas fairs and a hockey tournament ... It passed the time - nelly had fun while we got cold on the touchline! 

Money ....

Money money money

Currency has arrived and we are now only a week away until we leave. Nelly is exhausted at the end of term as they all are but we have a busy weekend to get through until the final week of school. Hoping that she will get onto blogging herself next week but I know she thinks she has to wait until we get to the airport ! I also know some of her friends are already reading !

Packing ...

Guess which suitcase belongs to who ?!?!?

There are two large suitcases on the bedroom floor .... We are slowly packing them and trying to make sure there is enough space in the case for things we buy once we are there ! 

Finally we have visas ! It took two visits to get the visas but after a few tears and a mini tantrum they are securely in our passports...all the tickets and hotels are booked, the currency arrived yesterday and the packing has commenced...17 days and counting ...to say we are excited is an understatement.....

HI i'm planning my trip to china and we have less than one week to go.😀😄😶😍🙃 

This time next week I'll be falling asleep on the aeroplane ✈️🛫🛬🛩🚅🚄🚝🚈🚅
